Patient Gender: Male
Patient Race: Caucasian
Pre-Diagnosis Events: Was non-smoker and non-drinker. Believes cancer was related to his service after 9/11 (this is quite possible, many law enforcement/firefighters have gotten cancer after exposure to chemicals created as a result of that attack)
Symptoms Conventional Medicine: Treatment was difficult, had to learn to talk with a portion of his tongue gone and he could not eat. "Smelling food and not being able to have it was torture." Became depressed due to this
Intervention Conventional: Surgery
Intervention Results: Became cancer free, but dealt with a lot of issues because of that surgery
Cancer Treatment Status: Success
